1992. I create CINE DEFI’ association to co-produce with CAROLINE PRODUCTION my first short film UNE VUE IMPRENABLE |
| 1995. I co-produce with CAROLINE PRODUCTION my second short film SHOOT ME ANGEL. Both films are shown in many prestigious film festivals around the world. UNE VUE IMPRENABLE is baught by France Channel. SHOOT ME ANGEL is baught by CinéCinéma and wins The New York Academy Scholarship Prize in Berlin’ Panorama international Film Festival 1996. |
| 1997-2002. I begin working on several projects with different film producers. After several re-writings, a long period of expectation, and without government or regional subsidies or grants, all my projects including A SON (UN FILS) are abandoned. All my dreams collapse. But because some stories in certain contexts give you the strength to surpass oneself I continued hoping and dreaming about an independent cinema. A way of filmmaking that has to be done no matter what it takes, with the energy of those who actually make movies – filmmakers, actors, technicians… - and wish to follow me… |
